My castle is my home
More than 100 volunteers contribute daily to the preservation and public access of this beautiful historic site. The castle welcomes talent and professional experience in a wide range of fields.
The volunteer team is involved in welcoming visitors, garden maintenance, collection management, technical work, promotion, and administration. The volunteers are an integral part of the organization.
To strengthen our team of volunteers, we are looking for welcoming volunteers:
- We are looking for enthusiastichosts and hostesses to welcome visitors and show them around the museum
- For ticket sales and the sale of souvenirs in the museum shop: friendlycashiers
- Is caring for the castle’s collection something that appeals to you? TheCollections Teamcould use some extra help!
- In addition to maintaining the castle, theGrounds Maintenance Teamalso takes care of the beautiful greenery in the garden and the avenues surrounding the castle. We’d love to meet volunteers with experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance!
We are a team
As a volunteer at Heeswijk Castle, you’ll be part of an enthusiastic team working in a variety of roles. We operate on a flexible schedule that allows you to schedule your own shifts as it best suits you (to ensure continuity, we ask for a minimum of one shift (3 hours) per week on average).
