A magnificent castle, one of Brabant’s four top monuments, fully furnished. It offers a vivid glimpse into life in those days. There is a lovely outbuilding with a bar.

Despite the drizzly weather, it was nice to visit the castle. We took an audio tour, which was great because we could go at our own pace. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Brasserie De Barones. I can’t remember ever being served so quickly anywhere else.
